A friendly reminder that classes are set to start this Sunday. Please remember your helmet and your waiver. Any cancellations will be posted on this site. All families who have been guaranteed a spot have been contacted. Other participants are on a waitlist. Happy skating!!
Thank you for your patience. Registration is now open for skaters of all levels from age 4 – adult. The cost is $80 per child and email transfer is preferred.
The registration form now asks for address, postal code, and child’s age. This is a requirement for the city permit. If you have previously sent in registration with the old form, then please resubmit so that this information is included.
Please note: I’m working my way through the registration but it appears as if all classes are full. I have not yet sent out official confirmations but will do so in the next few days. You may send in your registration form to be waitlisted as I wait for confirmations. Historically, there has been movement and waitlisted people may be offered spots. If you are waitlisted, please do not forward payment.
There are 12 skating sessions. Classes will begin on Sunday, November 25th (weather permitting) until Sunday, February 24th. There will be no classes on Sunday, December 23rd or Sunday, December 30th. Unfortunately, no refunds or credits will be granted for cancelled or missed classes. You will be notified of cancellations on this website and email. Only one parent will be emailed so please share the information with the other parent as needed.
All skaters (children and adult) require a helmet and skates (either hockey or figure skating skates).
If you know of any student volunteers to help on ice, please email us their names.
Due to the anticipated volume of registrations, there will be delay in the processing of your submission. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for your patience. We hope to have SFSA up and running very soon. We need to update the registration form and ensure everything is set up. We will post on this site when registration is open.
Sunday, February 25th marks the last class of the season.
A special thanks to our instructors (Claudia and Shari) and our on ice volunteers (Kate and Adrian) for their amazing contributions!
There are three more classes left in February (11th, 18th, and 25th). Please note that classes will continue even during Family Day weekend.
Sunday, December 17th is the last class before the holiday break.
There will be no classes on the 24th or the 31st.
Sunday, January 7th will be the first day back after the holidays.
Ice conditions are not favourable to start on Nov 26th. SFSA will begin on Dec 3rd.
Please remember to bring your CSA approved helmet and signed waiver.
Feel free to fill out a registration form or email us if you’d like to be placed on a waiting list.
We are seeking student volunteers to help out on the ice. Please contact us if you are interested.
Response to registration has been quick. It appears that we have 78 forms to process for our 80 spots. After we process all of the registrations, we will have a better understanding of any exact availability (i.e. who is still interested, if they are ok with their time slot, etc). As such, please continue to send in new registrations but do not send payment until we can confirm that you will be guaranteed a spot.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
